Fermentation: 100% bin fermented and aged in French and American oak.
Aging: 24 months in 59-gallon French and American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: The Merlot Special Selection was produced using a blend of the finest grape lots of the 2000 harvest. This wine possesses a dark garnet color with the aromas and flavors of red fruit, oak and wild berries. An extended ripening period adds depth and complexity to the Merlot.
