Blended using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this delightfully full-flavored selection is truly exceptional. Named for a mythical river in France whose waters ran with wine, Denira has been blended with grapes from an ideal microclimate in California. Warm days, cool afternoons and ocean breezes ensure that these grapes have met their maximum potential.
Fruit: 50% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc.
Harvest: Hand picked in the cool hours of early morning. Brix: 25.0. Acid: 0.7 grams/100ml.
Fermentation: This wine was whole berry fermented slowly at moderate temperatures to ensure a rich, fruity varietal character.
Aging: 36 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
