2009 33 Degree North Cabernet Franc
This 100 percent estate-grown Cabernet Franc had its grapes hand picked in the early morning hours of September 16 , 2007. They were then placed in small fermentation bins and manually punched down every four hours for six straight days to achieve optimal color extraction and intense fruit flavors
This wine has intense fruit flavors of ripe Bing Cherries and Plum to deliver a spicy, mid-palate with a smooth, subtle finish. This limited production Cabernet Franc - just 27 cases bottled - has a deep, dark color and is drinkable now, but will benefit from additional bottle aging.
